Hi everyone, I am writting because I have noticed that there are many posts on the UGOW website which require feedback from the guild as a whole. I am asking for the guild to please involve themselves in the decision making process of UGOW. How can this be done you ask??? Simple, visit this site www.ugow.org/ugow/forums/index.php and read the posts in the House of Commons all the way at the bottom. After you have done that you can post your opinion in this forum. I am also going to ask bellatrix to place a section specifically for these matter on our message boards. Our involvement in UGOW as a guild is dirrectly related to our activity with them not only in raids but in decision making also. Your opinions on UGOW matters are just as important as our own guild matters. Please exercise your voice and become an active part of the decision making process. Thank you. I look forward to much feed back from our guildies.

I read all the UGOW forums every day, just was not sure I had a right to comment on things since I hadn't been doing the runs. However, I will make the effort to give some input here, especially if I start doing more with them, and become more familiar with their workings.
Glaze, are you the new guild rep for UGOW, to replace Bah? I think you're doing an awesome job with UGOW, and also here to try and get people more involved.

Indeed I am the new addition to the UGOW guild reps. There is a whole thread that you guys cant see Called House of Nobles its pretty much where all the guild reps just vent what is going wrong and what not. I will do my best to communicate the current issues as best as I could.
As of this week they have not talked much. The hot topic is that of FR gear drops in MC raids. Apparently the FNL leadership is not happy at the fact that people are not rolling on FR gear because the individuals feel its a waste of DKP and rather spend dkp on a tier 1 piece. The concerns are of what to do so that people take advantage of the epic FR drops in MC and they are not sharded into Nexus Crystals. They are thinking of doing something about the 1 epic per run rule. Feel free to talk about how you feel, wether it affects you or not, you are still entitled to an opinion.

The one epic per run rule stinks if your the only warlock and say 4 different felheart things drop and the other warlocks already have those pieces. But you cant get the other 3 because your only allowed one per person.

Heck, if they won't roll on any fire-resistance gear, give 'em to me.

But you see Itar, what if every lock needs all of those pieces? ? the one epic per run rule prevents one of them from getting all of them, two edged sword buddy

This is my opinion on the matter. I am going to give a hypothetical situation. It is the first boss of the run and an item that is not a set piece drops. The bidding goes on and no-one in the raid bids because of the fear of not being able to bid on a set piece later on. If the piece that droped is an upgrade for many in the raid then the next thing should happen, if it is not an upgrade then it is safe to disenchant. At that point I believe that the raid manager/commander holding the auction should go into a penalty less epic bid, which is simply a bid for an epic that will not count toward your one epic per run rule. What this allows is the raid to benefit the most from the drop while assuring an equal opportunity for anyone in the raid that can use the item to be awared the item. There comes a time when you will out grow or rather out develop a current law in you bylaws, that is called a blue law. This happends very frequently with the very specific laws of the state and local legislature and you know what they do about it, nothing! I think we have to be proactive about this and make a change for the better, rather than sit on our toshes and wait for it to resolve on its own. +++Feedback Please+++

Glaze, I agree with your assessment. A special case type of rule, where if someone does get an early epic that is an upgrade, they can still roll for a set piece. People shouldn't be discouraged from getting upgrades that will help them help the raid.
And if more than one epic upgrade drops, but aren't set pieces? Do you draw the line at one non-set epic item?
And where do weapons fit in? If a weapon upgrade drops and a person wants and gets it, but then that uber weapon they've REALLY been waiting for drops, what then? Would there be a 1 or 2 epic weapon rule? And are there weapons that are specifically for only one class, so that you could have a rule similar to the one for armor?

On one hand, none of us Elliot Crumb probably thought toms shoes that Stephen Hawking was born in a wheelchair. But as a pop men toms shoes culture figure, his wheelchair and electronic voice are his thing, and against all logic you find it hard to think of him shoes men toms any other way, like how you can't think of Hulk Hogan without the tan and mustache. That canvas mens toms photo up there is from 1965, when a 23-year-old Hawking married Jane Wilde. That was after his diagnosis with ALS, the disease that would put him in the men size toms shoes wheelchair (note the cane). But just a couple mens toms shoes size of years before that, he had no idea he had a degenerative disease -- he was a healthy, active, drinking college student at Oxford: Then, one day he noticed he was having trouble keeping his womens toms shoes hands steady, and once fell down a flight of stairs. Hey, best to go get it checked out, right? Could be, like, an ear infection or something toms classic shoes throwing off his balance. That's when the 21-year-old (now studying for his Ph.D. at Cambridge) was told he'd be bedridden soon, and dead within a few years, a prognosis that is true for almost every ALS patient. Hawking, somehow, toms shoes classic is still alive 50 years after his diagnosis.
